When the Veep needs cash, good thing he has a Gamecock ATM nearby.

Joe Biden was the guest star at the Thursday's D.C. opening of his favorite Delaware sub shop, Capriotti's.

The former Blue Hen senator was getting to-go sandwiches for himself and the prez, but his wallet was only half full and Biden needed help with the $56.25 bill, The Associated Press reported. (Cue government handout jokes ... now.)

So the vice president asked assistant, former University of South Carolina lineman Fran Person, for a little lunch money.

Word is that the password on Biden's personal ATM is "2001."
