— A Rock Hill woman was arrested Friday afternoon after police say she showed up drunk at York Preparatory Academy to pick up her children.

Lenora Marie White, 30, was charged with first offense driving under the influence after she failed field sobriety tests and used profanity in front of several school children while talking with officers, according to a Rock Hill police report.

Officers approached White after school officials saw her driving carelessly to get in line to pick up her children, the report states.

White told police she had two vodka drinks earlier in the day and officers said she looked “confused and disorientated,” according to the report.

She was slow to respond to officers' questions, the report states, and had bloodshot eyes.

White refused to perform one of the field sobriety tests and used curse words when officers asked her to perform another, according to the report.

At the Rock Hill Law Center, the report states that she registered a .23 blood alcohol concentration, which is nearly three times the state's legal limit of blood alcohol content to drive.

Her car and children were released to a relative, police said.
