— Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is asking for the community’s help to find a missing man.

Jerry Glenn Helms, 84, left his Todd Branch Drive home in Northeast Richland around 11 a.m. Saturday and has not been seen since, Lott said. Helms was believed to be running errands, and possibly heading to a Sears store.

Helms has serious medical conditions that place him at risk, Lott said.

He is a white male, 5’8” tall, 165 pounds, gray hair, with blue eyes. He was last seen wearing black jeans and a long-sleeved flannel shirt with dark colored pin stripes.

He was last seen driving a 2005 Dodge Caravan with South Carolina Tag FLC-222.

Anyone with information should call 911 immediately.
