Nov. 26–ROCK HILL – A man accused of using the bathroom in a Rock Hill man’s driveway two months ago was charged with indecent exposure on Monday after police found him in the woods while investigating a small fire, authorities said.

Police on Sept. 17 were sent to a Hutchinson Street home after a man, 60, told police that one of two men trespassing on his property squatted down at the end of his driveway and used the bathroom before telling the homeowner he would clean it up later and then running away, police reported. Three days later, the homeowner’s daughter told police the suspect went to her workplace and wrote his name on a sign-up sheet. She was able to confirm his identity from a photo lineup.

Warrants were issued on Jerry Westbrook, charging him with indecent exposure, according to a Rock Hill police report. On Monday, police found Westbrook after receiving a call about a small fire in the woods at the corner of North Jones Avenue and East White Street. Police discovered Westbrook in the woods and took him into custody. ––– ©2013 The Herald (Rock Hill, S.C.)
