Absentee ballots can be cast Friday in strong mayor vote

— Absentee voting for city of Columbia residents on the strong mayor referendum is available Friday at the Richland County Elections & Voter Registration Office.

Hours are 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. at the office, 2020 Hampton St., Columbia.

The absentee voting is being offered in advance of Tuesday’s election.
