— It seems the Richland County Voter Registration and Election Commission can’t do anything right.

First, we need to get rid of the board members; some have been on the commission too long and need to be replaced by people who aren’t politically connected. Second, fire Lillian McBride; she messed up in 2012, and now in 2013 the area she oversees was part of the problem. It seems that she is of the good-’ol-boy system. Third, keep the politicians out of the game. All they ever do is think about themselves, not the people.

Rep Joe Neal, chairman of the Richland County legislative delegation, said that appropriate action will be taken and the individual responsible will be held accountable. We will wait and see what happens. If this is not taken care of right this time, I will not vote in Richland Country again so long as I live.
