— There were more than 1,114 votes uncounted. I called the board of elections to get an absentee ballot for me and my wife three weeks before the November election. The lady was very courteous in saying she would mail out an application that day. It came the day of the election. This, keep in mind, was just the application. It had to be sent back before the absentee ballot would be forwarded.

So we did not get to vote against the library referendum.

How many other votes were similarly “not counted”?
