Tuesday letters: Riverfront a divine place

December 3, 2013

— One Sunday, I was trying to decide on a church to attend but then decided to take my dog and walk along the river. I used to walk there a lot years ago. It was truly divine, with water on both sides, leaves changing, turtles on rocks, sounds of geese flying. I have even seen a deer before.

It’s so peaceful with a mixture of folks walking and biking. I highly recommend it for stress relief and better health. It would be an awesome place to have a church service some Sunday morning. There’s a place with a cover and plenty of room to sit or lie in the grass — even with your pets.
