Preview: Dutch Fork Boys basketball

December 4, 2013

With nine lettermen in tow, Dutch Fork’s boys basketball team is expecting a big improvement over last season 7-14 performance.

“Eight of those nine players coming back are seniors,” said coach Matt Brown. “These guys are experience and athletic and have been together for a long time. We must work on improving our defensive rebounding and being more consistent in the defensive end.”

Seniors Christian Mills (12.0 ppg), Fred Poole (13.0 ppg) and Watson Harris (8.0 ppg) and freshman guard Jordan Davis are the Silver Foxes’ returning starters.

Sophomore Jalen Wilson and freshman Bobby Irby are newcomers to watch.
