Junior League Holiday Market

Thousands of potential Christmas gifts await you at the Junior League of Columbia’s Holiday Market, through Sunday at the SC State Fairgrounds. Hours: 9:30a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday, 9:30 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday, 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday, noon-5 p.m. Sunday. $8 per person, 12 and under free

First Thursday on Main

December’s art crawl on Main Street marks the last for S&S Art Supply, which is closing at the end of the year. Eight artists are featured, including Thomas Crouch’s series of works, “As The Crow Flies.” First Thursday on Main is 5-9 p.m.


‘A Christmas Carol’

Performances of the new adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic story will be presented by Trustus Theatre, 520 Lady St. Performances begin Friday and continue 8 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays through Dec. 21. $20; students, $15. (803) 254-9732; http://www.trustus.org
