Tokyo, Japan (SportsNetwork.com) - Yusaku Miyazato shot 1-over-par 71 on Sunday to win the Nippon Series JT Cup by three strokes.

Miyazato was ahead by three entering the final round at Tokyo Yomiuri Country Club and that proved his winning margin, as he finished at 13-under 267 to secure his first career Japan Golf Tour title.

Ashun Wu fired a 68 to grab solo second at 10-under, Hideto Tanihara carded a 72 and took third at 9-under, Kazuhiro Yamashita (74) finished in fourth at 7- under and Kyoung-Hoon Lee (73) rounded out the top five at minus-5.

Miyazato mixed five bogeys and a pair of birdies over his first 10 holes, but he steadied himself from there, picking up birdies at the 11th and 17th and parring the rest to seal the victory.
