PHOTOS: Logan celebrates 100 years

December 12, 2013

Logan Elementary School first grader London Thebau and other first graders play ring toss during recess at Logan Elementary School. The school is celebrating their centennial this year and spent the day pretending like they were going to school in 1913. The original building, with several additions, is still being used.

Students and faculty members went back to the year 1913, wearing clothes and playing games of the early 1900s, ringing a handbell to start morning classes, and forgoing all modern technologies. The event was one in a year-long celebration of the Richland 1 school’s milestone.
