Suspect in November bank fraud caught on camera

— A surveillance photo was released Friday of a possible suspect in a November bank fraud in Richland County.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said the suspect cashed two counterfeit checks for more than $1,700 and was caught on camera. Deputies are searching for the man, in his mid-50s or older with facial hair, who was captured on video wearing light-colored clothing and a ballcap.

The incident occurred at the First Citizens Bank at 2350 Broad River Road shortly before 5 p.m. Nov. 1.
