— A 52-year-old man faces multiple charges after a Sunday incident on Shampy Street in Springdale.

Bryan Argoe has been charged with criminal domestic violence, unlawful possession of controlled narcotics and possession of a firearm or ammunition by a convicted felon.

According to a press release from the Springdale Police Department, Argoe is accused of assaulting his live-in girlfriend. While officers were investigating the incident, they found ammunition in plain view. Officers eventually found eight weapons and more than 700 rounds of ammunition.

Argoe, because of a previous criminal convection, is not authorized to possess firearms or ammunition.

Officers also located numerous Schedule II narcotics, according to the release, which Argoe did not have a prescription for.

Chief Kevin Cornett asks that anyone with information notify the Springdale Police Department at 803-796-3160 or local law enforcement.
