Attention, last-minute shoppers: Midlands mall hours

Procrastinators, relax.

With just two shopping days left before Christmas, retailers are stepping up their game, hoping to attract some last-minute jingle in a lukewarm shopping season.

Kohl’s stores have been open around the clock since Friday and will not close until 6 p.m. Tuesday. Toys R Us is in the middle of an 87-hour straight selling marathon that won’t end until 9 p.m. Christmas Eve. And other department stores are opening early and staying open late. Belk’s, for example, won’t close until midnight Monday and will reopen at 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Most stores and all Midlands’ area malls will be closed on Christmas day, Wednesday. But shoppers have never had so many options for picking up those last-minute deals.

Here are general hours for all area malls, although some anchor stores may be open longer:

Tuesday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Monday: 9 a.m.-10 p.m.

Tuesday: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
