Tuesday letters: Riverfront great place to worship

December 24, 2013

— I enjoyed reading Lin McKenney’s Dec. 3 letter (“Riverfront a divine place”).

What a genuine sense of appreciating nature while at the same time worshiping and glorifying God the creator of all things.

Indeed, it is a good idea to begin a church service on a Sunday morning in one of those beautiful sit-in huts at the riverfront.

The combination of overlooking the river and enjoying the calmness of nature, listening to the birds sing, watching turtles lying by the shore and singing praises to God who graciously has made the gathering possible would be a wonderful experience.

So let us find a way to make this happen sooner than later in fulfillment of our religious obligation to spread the gospel and reach out to the loss for Christ and for the glory of God.
