March 20: ecognize this actor? Mike Colter is a regular guest star on "The Good Wife" as drug lord Leonard Bishop, and has been in "American Horror Story" and "The Following." He's also a Columbia native and a graduate of USC. He was on campus March 20 to speak to USC students about acting.
March 12: ro golfer and South Carolina resident Dustin Johnson is among the celebrities joining NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin and fellow golfers Nancy Lopez, Jim Furyk and John Daly in the 20th Hootie & the Blowfish Monday After the Masters Celebrity Pro-Am in Myrtle Beach. March 12: Columbia native Josh Lieb is settling into his new role as producer of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." Lieb attended Forest Lake Elementary and Heathwood Hall, and still has family in the Columbia area. After serving as a writer on "The Simpsons" and "News Radio," Lieb became producer of "The Daily Show" with Jon Stewart, generating some memorable segments on South Carolina in the process, including "Thank You South Carolina."
March 11: Former WIS anchor Craig Melvin is a new dad. He posted a photo of his son on Twitter Monday evening. " My son already looks at me like, 'really, dad. really?" Delano Joseph Melvin was born Monday morning. Melvin now is an anchor on MSNBC, and his wife, Linsday Czarniak, works at ESPN.
