Three local teams earn CCC title shots

Keenan and A.C. Flora meet in the Capital City Classic boys championship game on Monday at 8:30 p.m. after Blythewood takes on Hephzibah (GA) in the girls title game at 7 p.m.

The tournament host Keenan Raiders (6-4) advanced to the finals thanks to a 74-63 semifinal win over Brookland-Cayce on Saturday. Flora (7-5) got past Columbia, 62-54, on Saturday.

Blythewood (5-6) advanced to the final thanks to wins over Keenan and Flora. The Bengals entered the tournament mired in a slump – losing five of their six previous games.

The complete CCC final day schedule:

Girls bracket: Newberry vs. Aquinas GA, 10 a.m.; Keenan vs. Myrtle Beach, 1 p.m.; Spring Valley vs. A.C. Flora, 4 p.m.; Blythewood vs, Hephzibah GA, 7 p.m.

Boys bracket: Heathwood Hall vs. Belton-Honea Path, 11:30 a.m.; Lancaster vs. Laurens, 2:30 p.m.; Columbia vs. Brookland-Cayce, 5:30 p.m.; Keenan vs. A.C. Flora, 8:30 p.m.
