'Party Down South,' filmed in Murrells Inlet, debuts Jan. 16

— "Party Down South," a reality show taped near the Grand Strand, is debuting on the CMT cable network on Jan. 16.

The producers of "Jersey Shore" were involved in the production of 'the most outrageous Southern party you've ever seen," according to the show's Facebook page. The show was taped at a house in Murrells Inlet, and features eight cast members from the south, although none are from South Carolina.

New episodes will will air at 10 p.m. Thursdays.
