Camden High is one of nine finalists statewide for the 2014 Palmetto’s Finest Schools awards.

The other eight are Midland Elementary and Forestbrook Middle, both Horry County; Okatie Elementary, Beaufort County; Boiling Springs Middle, Spartanburg 2; Landrum Middle, Spartanburg 1; Clover High, York 2; Fairfield Magnet School for Math and Science, Fairfield County; and Howe Hall Arts Infused Magnet School, Berkeley County, according to a news release from the S.C. Finalists were named after evaluations by educators and previous Palmetto’s Finest winners, as well as applications detailing student achievement, instructional programs, professional learning communities, and school culture.

The finalist schools will gather in their schools March 26 to learn which have won the top honors. S.C. ETV will stream the announcement live to each of the finalist schools.
