This 11-day celebration of South Carolina cuisine begins Thursday at hundreds of participating restaurants throughout the state next week. Arts At Shandon

S.C. Philharmonic

Beethoven & Blue Jeans concert is 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Koger Center for the Arts, 1051 Greene St. Pianist Alessio Bass will perform Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 1 and John Fitz Rogers will present the world premiere of the SCP’s 50th season commission; the concert closes out with Brahms’ Symphony No. 5.
