Shots fired at Decker Boulevard gas station

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC Richland County sheriff’s deputies responded to an aggravated assault call around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday on Decker Boulevard.

The victim was at a gas station when a friend got into a verbal altercation with a suspect, according to the victim, said Sgt. Curtis Wilson, spokesman for the department. Then the altercation became physical, Wilson said.

The victim got into a vehicle, and the suspect pulled out a gun and shot multiple times at the vehicle, he said.

There are no reports of injures and no one was hurt, Wilson said.
