Three arrested in Newberry County for manufacturing meth

akflanagan@thestate.comJanuary 13, 2014

— A domestic dispute between a father and son led Newberry County Sheriff’s deputies to a meth lab.

Officers were called to a home on Jack Wilson Road in Whitmire around 9:30 p.m. Saturday because a father and son were arguing over a meth lab the son was manufacturing.

Robert Ellis “Robbie” Dilleshaw Jr., 31, ran from the scene, but was later caught by police.

Deputies determined there was a working meth lab at the home, and a certified Hazardous Material clean-up crew was called in.

Sheriff Lee Foster said crews cleaned the home and there is no threat or danger to the surrounding community.

Deputies also arrested Matthew Felker, 34, and Christine Leah Davis, 36, in connection with the meth lab.

All three were taken to the Newberry County Detention Center where they await a bond hearing.
