Suspect wanted for breaking window, burglarizing home

— Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is asking for the community’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted for burglary.

Sheriff Lott said a suspect broke into a home at 3432 Woodbranch Road around 11 a.m. Thursday.

Lott says the suspect broke in after throwing an object through the rear kitchen window.

He stole a wallet and an outside video surveillance camera. He also damaged a chair outside the home and smashed a window pane.

The suspect was captured on video surveillance walking around the home.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIMESC. Your anonymous information could get you a $1,000 reward.
