Sam Fink

Sam Fink has been named the recipient of the Savannah River National Laboratory’s 2013 Donald Orth Lifetime Achievement Award. Fink serves as senior technical advisor for nuclear waste processing at the facility, which is located in Aiken. He earned his doctorate degree in chemical engineering from Ohio State University and played a critical role in launching SRNL’s salt waste removal process.
