ELECTION 2014: Graham foes to debate at S.C. Tea Party Convention in Myrtle Beach today

U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham's Republican primary challengers are debating this morning at about 11 a.m. at the S.C. Tea Party Convention in Myrtle Beach.

S.C. Sen. Lee Bright, R-Spartanburg, Easley businessman Richard Cash, Orangeburg attorney Bill Connor, and Charleston PR executive Nancy Mace are running against Graham in the June primary.

One Democrat, Jay Stamper of Columbia, has announced a bid for the seat.

Graham was invited but did not attend, an announcer at the debate said. Graham tweeted from a town hall meeting in Edgefield Monday morning at the National Wild Turkey Federation headquarters.
