Thursday letters: Surely that was a misspelling

— As my eye caught Cindi Ross Scoppe’s Jan. 14 column (“Seeing our Legislature as half-full”), I chuckled at what had to be a misspelling. After spending considerable time critiquing legislators’ waste of time throwing eggs at the Affordable Care Act and similar absurdities, surely she meant “Seeing our Legislature as half-fool.” There are some errors that spell check does not catch.
