LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC A woman was arrested Thursday after officers with the Lexington County Multi-Agency Enforcement Team found her sitting in a truck that was being used to manufacture meth.

Stefanie Renee Head, 30, of Gaston was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine from a truck parked in the 100 block of West Ballpark Road in Gaston.

Lexington County Sheriff James R. Metts said a deputy responded to a call about a suspicious truck about 1:50 p.m. Thursday. The deputy found Head sitting in the front passenger seat of the green Mazda truck when he arrived, Metts said.

Metts said the deputy searched the truck and found several items that indicated a meth lab was being operated.

Narcotics Enforcement Team officers were called in and determined Head had a clear, plastic two-liter bottle that was being used as a reaction vessel to manufacture meth.

Head is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing.
