Monday letters: Who would live near a ballpark?

January 27, 2014

— With all the talk about a ballpark on the Bull Street property, we seem to have forgotten that this area also will be residential and retail.

So, what about the extra traffic in an already-busy downtown, increased demand for parking and the noise generated by such a venue? Yup, makes me want to live there.

No consideration is given to the residents — new or existing. Nothing like trying to enjoy a quiet afternoon or evening having to hear the noise from a ballgame or a concert.
