Grammy winner Bruno Mars among top talent coming to Columbia

If you watched the Grammy awards broadcast on Sunday night, you saw a lot of musical acts that are coming to the Midlands in the next few months.

On Wednesday, the Colonial Life Arena announced that Grammy winning singer Bruno Mars — who also stars in the halftime show at the Super Bowl Sunday — will headline a show there on Friday, June 13. Tickets go on sale Monday, Feb. 3.

The Queens of the Stone Age – who played a set during the last half of the Grammys broadcast – play at the Township Auditorium on Friday. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets: (800) 745-3000 or

Darius Rucker, who won a Grammy for Country Best Solo Performance for his single, “Wagon Wheel,” is coming to the Colonial Life Arena on Feb. 21.
