— Brig. Gen. Bradley Becker is inviting the public to a special, up-close tour of Fort Jackson and its soldiers in training on Feb. 20.

Becker, the commanding general, will host a six-hour "Come See Your Army" tour to give local citizens an opportunity to see how soldiers train and provide insight into the day-to-day operations of the fort.

Visitors will attend a basic training graduation, see soldiers train, learn to shoot the M16A2 simulator and eat in an Army dining facility. Lunch cost is $4.60.

The tour begins at 8:30 a.m. and reservations are required by Feb. 20.

For more information or to register call Fort Jackson Community Relations at (803) 751-1474.
