Junior League holds ‘Clean Sweep’ sale Saturday in Columbia

It’s time to rummage.

The Junior League of Columbia is holding its 18th annual Clean Sweep at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds Saturday to raise funds for the organization’s ongoing charitable efforts.

The cash-only sale will feature new and used items that have been donated by League members, area residents and local businesses. Featured items will include handbags, jewelry, books, music, games, children’s toys and clothing, maternity clothing, furniture, home and garden, house wares, holiday items, appliances and electronics, linens, and sporting goods.

Proceeds will support the Junior League’s various community projects.

The Clean Sweep will run from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Cantey Building at the Fairgrounds at Rosewood Drive and George Rogers Boulevard.

Admission is $3 per person. Children under 12 are admitted for free. Gates open at 7 a.m. and parking is $2.
