— Charles Black, 47, and his employee and housemate, John Segroves, 34, turned themselves in to Lexington County authorities on Friday. The Columbia men’s surrender came two weeks after Black’s business was raided and a county magistrate declared the machines seized during the raid were illegal gambling devices.

Five five Pot-O-Gold-style video gambling machines, a video surveillance system and $70 in cash removed from Black’s business at 4265-G Augusta Road, West Columbia, Lexington County Sheriff James Metts said in a news release.

Both men were booked at the Lexington County Detention Center Friday morning. They were released on bond of $2,500 each.
