Five killed on South Carolina roads over the weekend

COLUMBIA, SC According to the South Carolina Department of Public Safety, five people were killed on South Carolina roads over the weekend.

Of those five, two were wearing a seatbelt and three were not.

As of Feb. 2, 57 people have died on SC highways in comparison with 58 deaths during the same time period last year.

The South Carolina Department of Public Safety also reports that of the 48 people who have died in 2014, 28 were not wearing seatbelts.
