U.S. Sen. Tim Scott is scheduled to speak in April as part of the Presidential Leadership Series at Bob Jones University in Greenville.

Scott will speak at 7 p.m. on April 22 in the Founder's Memorial Amphitorium. The topic is not yet known.

Scott was appointed to the Senate by Gov. Nikki Haley to fill the seat left vacant by Jim DeMint's resignation. Before that, Scott represented South Carolina's 1st District congressional seat.

The Presidential Leadership Series also will feature syndicated talk show host and columnist Dennis Prager, who will speak on “The Consequences of Secularism” at 7 p.m. on Feb. 20.

“We are delighted to host speakers at BJU who can inform and challenge our students,” said Bob Jones president Stephen Jones.
