RCSD searching for suspect accused of using stolen credit card

— The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a suspect accused of using a stolen credit to make unauthorized purchases at a gas station.

Sheriff Leon Lott said the suspect used a stolen credit card to make a purchase at the Shell Gas Station at 441 Piney Grove Road between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Jan. 13.

According to Lott, the credit card owner left his wallet at the Walmart at 360 Harbison Blvd. The wallet contained several cards, one of which was used at the Shell Gas Station on Piney Grove Road.

Anyone with information leading to the arrest of the suspect can receive up to a $1000 reward by calling Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
