Midlands Two-county e-waste events set

— Keep the Midlands Beautiful and the town of Irmo host an electronics waste recycling collection Feb. 15.

The event, 9 a.m. to noon, will be at Crossroads Middle School, 6949 St Andrews Road, Columbia.

Residents may drop off household electronics of all kinds, including: computers, laptops, monitors, keyboards, printers and scanners; televisions; copiers; VCR and DVD players; fax machines, telephone systems and cellphones. No refrigeration units or appliances that contain Freon will be accepted.
