Fourth-ranked Chapin and Swansea will serve as a host teams for the first two rounds of the Class 3A state wrestling playoffs on Saturday.
Elsewhere, first-year River Bluff, Westwood and Camden will be on the road in the Upper State, while Brookland-Cayce and Airport will travel to dates in the Lower State.
Region 4-3A champion Chapin (22-10) takes on 5-12 Woodruff in the first round and, if successful, will face either Emerald or second-ranked Pickens (36-8) in the second round.
Austin Jeffords (38-9 at 285 pounds), Sam Holaday (45-7 at 160), Jack O'Neill (34-14 at 195) and Zach Slice (26-6 at 220) have been the Eagle individual standouts to date.
Swansea earned the right top host a four-team Lower State gathering, and also rated a first-round bye. The Tigers square off against the winner of the North Myrtle Beach-James Island opener.
River Bluff (15-8) finished second behind Chapin in region matters, but the Gators have a tough draw in their first postseason appearance at Eastside. River Bluff takes on Chester in the first round, and faces the prospect of a second-round clash against the host, defending state champion, top-ranked Eagles.
Corey Lorance (19-2 at 126), Quint Baldwin (17-3 at 145), Hakeem Ferguson (19-3 at 152), Hunter Forsyth (18-3 at 182) and Levi Wright (17-4 at 195) have excelled for the rookie Gators.
Westwood (20-13) travels to West-Oak for a first-round contest against Broome (19-17). The Redhawks are a vastly improved team in their second season and has a number of individual standouts, including Marlin Grant (42-10 at 106), Kelvin Williams (40-5 at 113), Evan Carrigan (50-1 at 120), Sam lores (27-8 at 126, Richard Hall (33-19 at 160) and Bradley Carter (30-20 at 220).
Camden (16-16) is off to Union and a first-round clash with the host Yellow Jackets.
Brookland-Cayce (10-11) heads to Socastee for a first-round match against Marlboro County. Senior Deonta Patterson is the Bearcat star ranked No. 1 at 113 after winning it all at the same weight last season.
Airport (18-6) is off to Hilton Head and a first-round date with Darlington. Austin Watters (106), Kaishawn King (220) and DJ Fling (138) are the top-ranked Eagle individuals.
