Best bets for Feb. 9: Bow tie record making event today

Columbia will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for most bow ties tied in five minutes in an event on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center, 1101 Lincoln St. All proceeds will benefit Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital.
