Thursday letters: Obama is not a good leader

Obama Mideast

JACQUELYN MARTIN — AP

Watching the Democrats clap during the State of the Union address when President Obama threatened to bypass the Congress if they didn’t do what he wanted reminded me of a bunch of clapping windup dolls.

The puppet master led primarily through the crime of omission. The manipulator-in-chief acknowledged one woman who lost her job, in order to justify raising the minimum wage, but he omitted the fact that it was under his leadership that millions of people are now unemployed.

He mentioned a woman who had an operation with a pre-existing condition under Obamacare, but no mention was given to the 5 million people who lost their insurance because of his plan.

When he brought up being the top country in the solar industry, he omitted the fact that he spent millions of taxpayer dollars on companies that went bankrupt.

As a 100 percent disabled Marine Vietnam veteran, I was disgusted when he used a disfigured Army sergeant to ingratiate himself with veterans. Twice he threatened our compensation checks if Congress didn’t raise the debt ceiling. He is not honest; he uses every dirty trick to get what he wants.
