U.S. Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-Spartanburg, recites a line from the Netflix show "House of Cards."

— Frank Underwood is a congressman from the Gaffney on the the Netflix show, "House of Cards," which debuts its second season Friday.

So why not have members the South Carolina delegation recite lines from Kevin Spacey's Machiavellian politician?

There's Rep. Jeff Duncan, R-Laurens, sitting behind his desk, slamming down some papers and saying: "That's how you devour a whale, Doug. One bite at a time."

And Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-Spartanburg, crosses his arms while standing next to a staffer and says to the camera: "I have zero tolerance for betrayal."

Four of the six lawmakers in the video from NowThis News hail from the Palmetto State -- Duncan, Gowdy, Rep. Jim Clyburn, D-Columbia, and U.S. Sen. Tim Scott, R-North Charleston.

Missing is the congressman who actually represents Gaffney -- Rep. Mick Mulvaney, R-Indian Land. (He was probably busy plowing snow off the streets of his hometown.)

Frank will expect you to watch the video.
