Recycling still a go in Irmo Saturday

Saturday’s electronics waste recycling day in Irmo for residents in Richland and Lexington counties is still on.

Keep the Midlands Beautiful and the town of Irmo are hosting the event, which will run from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday at Crossroads Middle School, 6949 St. Andrews Road.

Acceptable items include computers, monitors, keyboards, printers, scanners, TVs, copiers, VCR and DVD players, fax machines, cell phones and household electronics.

No refrigeration units or appliances that contain Freon will be accepted.
