— A man was injured Friday night when he was shot while driving his vehicle near Broad River Road.

The man, who has not been named, was traveling on Seminole Road toward Broad River Road when he met another vehicle driving toward him, said Sgt. Curtis Wilson, spokesman for the Richland County Sheriff's Department.

A witness told investigators four people were in the other vehicle and someone fired a gun from it, Wilson said.

The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Wilson said.

No arrests have been made in the shooting, which happened just before 10 p.m.
