ROCK HILL — Someone stole more than $12,000 in electronics from an airplane stored at the Rock Hill-York County Airport, police say.
The plane's owner, a 64-year-old Fort Mill man, said he stored his plane at the airport in March 2013. When he returned on Sunday, the owner discovered two Garmin radios valued at $10,000 were missing from the dash, as well as another handheld radio worth $2,300, according to a Rock Hill Police report.
The cover was still attached and closed on the plane, as he left it, the report states.
A suspect is unknown, and the plane's owner declined fingerprint processing.
