Suspects break glass doors of grocery store, steal $900 worth of cigarettes

— Richland County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for two suspects accused of throwing an object into the glass doors of a grocery store and stealing cartons of cigarettes.

Sheriff Leon Lott said two suspects threw an object into the front glass doors of the Piggly Wiggly at 6325 N. Main St. around 3:30 a.m. Feb. 12. Once inside the store, the suspects stole cartons of cigarettes valued at $900, Sheriff Lott said.

The suspects were captured on video surveillance.
