Suspect pretends to buy soda, points gun at store employee

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said deputies are searching for a suspect accused of pointing a gun at a at Home Depot employee and demanding money.

According to Sheriff Lott, the suspect pretended to purchase a soda from the Home Depot at 7701 Two Notch Road just after 4 p.m. Jan. 18 and then pointed a handgun at the store employee and demanded money.

The suspect, who was captured on video surveillance, was wearing Khaki shorts, a black knit hat, a black bowling shirt and a Dallas Cowboys NFL scarf.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
