ELECTION 2014: Lindsey Graham rolls out second round of radio, TV ads

COLUMBIA -- U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham released his second round of radio and television ads this weekend in his 2014 re-election bid.

The six-figure statewide ad buy started running this weekend during the Clemson - University of South Carolina baseball series.

The ads highlight Graham's opposition to the Affordable Care Act, which he called a "backdoor to socialized medicine," and tout Graham's introduction of legislation that would allow states to opt out of the federal healthcare law's mandates on employers and individuals.

The ads also highlights Graham's support for Boeing aircraft company when its South Carolina expansion faced a union challenge.

According to the ads, Graham was ranked a Top 5 Senate Budget Cutter by the National Taxpayers Union Foundation.

Graham has received awards from the National Taxpayers Union, Americans for Tax Reform, and Citizens Against Government Waste.

Graham was named a “Guardian of Small Business” by the National Federation of Independent Business, and was named the "Public Servant of the Year" by the S.C. Chamber of Commerce.

Graham faces six GOP challengers in June's primary.
