Monday letters: Why go where guns are allowed?

March 10, 2014

— I have no intention of frequenting any business that does not have a “no guns” sign prominently displayed at the entrance, regardless of what Gov. Nikki Haley and the Legislature think, or the gun nuts who are so paranoid they can’t bear to part with their weapons for a few hours.

It is reprehensible that the public must rely on the “responsible nature” of these people, given the cases in which one person shot someone for texting in a theater and another shot people for playing their music too loudly.
