Deputies investigate two reports of shots fired

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC Richland County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating two reports of shots fired on the same street Monday evening and early Tuesday morning.

Sgt. Curtis Wilson, a Sheriff’s Department spokesman, said the first incident happened around 8 p.m. Monday evening. A homeowner on Woodsboro Drive told police he heard several shots and said a bullet hit his house.

Woodsboro Drive is off Broad River Road.

Sgt. Wilson said a woman on Woodsboro Drive reported hearing several shots just around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. She also told police several bullets hit her house

No injuries have been reported in either incident.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate.
