“WEST SIDE STORY”: The Voice of Chapin (Chapin High School choirs) will offer performances at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday in Spring Hill High School auditorium, 11629 Broad River Road. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door; $10 for adults, students, $5.

Ladies first ... I said “ladies”

“LADIES OF LADY STREET LATE NIGHT CABARET”: 11 p.m. Friday at Trustus Theatre, 520 Lady St. An entertaining mix of female impersonation, celebrity illusions, showgirl costumes, comedy, glamour and song. Vista Queen Emeritus Patti O’Furniture will lead a cast featuring Paris LeFaris, Stevie Nicks impersonator Jamie Monroe and others. Doors and the bar open at 10 p.m. Tickets are $15; available at http://trustus.org or at the door.

A sure sign of spring

YOUTH BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL EXPO: Noon-4 p.m. Saturday at Pinehurst Park, 2300 Pinehurst Road. Clinics, games, music, food and more. Youth baseball for boys ages 9-14, youth softball for girls 8-14 and City Sluggers instructional baseball for ages 4-8. Transportation will be provided from St. Anna’s and Martin Luther King Parks. Registration is $25. Scholarships are available; verification must be shown to receive assistance. Equipment will be provided by the Columbia Parks and Recreation Department.
